Job Summary:

The Firefighter will be responsible for responding to emergency situations providing fire suppression and rescue services and promoting fire safety and prevention in the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire safety protocols excellent physical fitness and the ability to work in a highstress environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency situations such as fires accidents and hazardous material incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct fire suppression and rescue operations using various equipment and techniques.
Assist in the evacuation of individuals from buildings during emergency situations.
Inspect and maintain fire equipment including fire trucks hoses and pumps.
Conduct fire safety inspections and identify potential hazards in buildings and public areas.
Educate the community on fire safety and prevention measures through presentations and demonstrations.
Maintain accurate records of all emergency responses and activities.
Participate in training and drills to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Work as part of a team to ensure a safe and efficient response to emergencies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a firefighter.
Excellent physical fitness and ability to pass a physical examination.
Strong understanding of fire safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in highstress situations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift schedule.
