Duties and Responsibilities

1. Personal Development
   • Master fire resistance testing standards (BSEN ASTM UL) and ensure compliance with technical and safety aspects
   • Conduct training for fire testing furnace components
   • Focus on personal ongoing selfdevelopment and growth
2. Accreditation and Quality Management Systems
   • Maintain ISO ISO and ISO accreditation
   • Uphold ISO ISO and ISO quality management system certifications
   • Plan and maintain work systems for optimum laboratory performance
3. Relationship with Subordinates
   • Develop a yearly training program for staff in fire resistance testing
   • Ensure health and safety provide oversight and empower employees
   • Implement performance management and development processes
4. Business Unit
   • Manage operational budgetary and financial responsibilities
   • Plan and allocate resources efficiently improving business processes
   • Make financially responsible business decisions
5. Laboratory Welfare
   • Manage furnace maintenance and fire safety inspection programs
   • Inspect and test fire testing furnace components
   • Ensure maintenance of firefighting systems in the laboratory
6. Testing Requirement
   • Coordinate with clients to understand and meet testing requirements
   • Supervise sample preparation testing procedures and troubleshooting
   • Implement fire testing standards and communicate with clients
7. Other Duties as Assigned
   • Cooperate and communicate with laboratory staff engineers and department heads

Qualifications

• Education Minimum Bachelors degree in business or related field
• Experience Minimum three years in leadership or supervisory roles
• Thorough knowledge of fire resistance testing standards
• Skills Quality and safetyoriented business management interpersonal relationship building teamoriented and organizational management

Language Ability English (Read Spoken and Written)

Computer Skills Proficient in internet software email MS Office and database software
