Finance Controller

Prepare and analyse monthly quarterly and annual financial statements by GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements. Provide insights and variance analysis to explain financial performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop annual operating budgets and long term financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management. Monitor actual financial results against budget and forecast investigating and explaining variances as necessary. Make recommendations for costsaving initiatives and revenue enhancement opportunities. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking such as pricing strategies capital investments and expansion opportunities. Perform profitability analysis by product line customer and market segment to optimize resource allocation and enhance overall profitability. Assess financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies for financial audits and compliance reviews. Stay current on industry regulations and accounting standards relevant to feed and poultry manufacturing. Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and capital investments. Optimize working capital by monitoring accounts receivable accounts payable and inventory levels. Develop cash flow forecasts to support cash management decisions and debt repayment strategies. Lead and develop the finance and accounting team providing guidance coaching and performance feedback. Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement within the finance department. Promote professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team members.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in accounting Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. 5 years of experience in financial management roles preferably in the feed and poultry manufacturing industry. Thorough understanding of accounting principles financial analysis techniques and internal controls. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with crossfunctional teams and senior management. Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve departmental goals.
