Field Test Coordinator - KSA

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Test Coordinator with a background in drilling and measurement specifically in MWD for one of our Oil & Gas clients in Dammam Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview: The Field Test Coordinator (MWD) with Drilling and Measurement background will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing field tests of our MWD systems ensuring accurate data collection analysis and reporting. This position requires a deep understanding of drilling operations MWD technologies and field procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop test plans including objectives procedures and success criteria for evaluating MWD systems in various drilling environments.
• Coordinate logistics for field tests including equipment deployment personnel assignment and scheduling to ensure smooth execution of test activities.
• Lead field test teams in the installation calibration and operation of MWD systems at drilling sites adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Monitor test progress troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure data accuracy and test integrity.
• Oversee the collection of drilling data using MWD systems ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the test duration.
• Analyze test data in realtime or posttest to assess system performance identify anomalies and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field test teams and clients on MWD system operation troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Conduct training sessions for field personnel on MWD technologies procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of test procedures equipment configurations and test results in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed test reports summarizing findings conclusions and recommendations for internal review and external dissemination.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Geology or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on drilling and measurement particularly in MWD operations.
• European nationals preferred.
• Proficiency in MWD system installation operation and troubleshooting with handson field experience in drilling environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of drilling operations downhole tools and telemetry systems used in MWD applications.
• Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate crossfunctional teams.
• Detailoriented with a strong focus on data accuracy analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in remote and challenging environments with a commitment to safety and quality.
