ITP Media Group reaches an audience of more than 104.6 million people across the Middle East and beyond through its leading websites portals social media platforms events conferences award ceremonies magazines books and social media influencers agency. We are one of the largest media companies in the Middle East with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out Arabian Business Harper s Bazaar GQ and Construction Week etc.

ITP Media Group s Hospitality & Entertainment group is looking for an enthusiastic dynamic designer with experience in print magazines digital visuals socialfriendly content and marketing to join its Time Out GCC and Ahlan teams based in Dubai. You must have a keen eye for beautiful creative design and demonstrable experience designing print products and digital creatives including ad formats. Only applicants with a link to a relevant portfolio of work will be considered

Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing design work across magazines digital marketing and awards for brands including Time Out GCC and Ahlan.
  • Responsible for managing individual product workflows alongside brand editors ensuring magazine pages and digital assets are designed to brief and to deadline.
  • Where relevant supporting Time Out and Ahlan clients with artwork requirements where needed all in line with individual brand identity and guidelines.
  • Comfortable editing photography in Adobe Photoshop and creating unique concepts and artwork in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Creating original artwork for digital and print adverts.
  • Creating original logo concepts for cobranded projects.
  • Creating original digital and event artwork for ITP brands and ITP clients.
  • Work with editorial and commercial teams on a variety of projects for ITP s brands and clients with an ability to jump seamlessly between different themes daytoday.
  • Work with Time Out s editorial leads to ensure each brand s standards and guidelines are met for each project.
  • Liaise with editorial design and photography teams of ITP Media Group to ensure all necessary and correct collateral (brand logos photoshoots etc) is available for each project.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the global design scene new and emerging trends in digital social and video formats.
  • Support the editorial and commercial teams by being an ambassador for Time Out and Ahlan in the market and attending events as required by Time Out.

  • Essential skills: fluent in Adobe InDesign Photoshop Illustrator.
  • Desirable skills: experience in motion graphics for socialsavvy content as well as in Keynote and PowerPoint.
  • Languages: Fluent in English is essential. Arabic is preferred but not essential.


Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers, reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content for digital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effective content strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives and resonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and edit articles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorial standards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developments to ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and partners, to enhance content quality and coverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across various platforms, including the brand's website, social media channels, and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorial experience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred. Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing, proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Proficient in using editorial software and tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms, content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywall experience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes: Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable about the latest trends in the travel industry. Energetic, self-motivated, and results driven. International roaster of travel writers and photographers.
