WATCHPRO is growing a fast pace and we are looking for highly motivated sales and marketing manager to join our team who has great sales acumen, marketing and events experience.
You will be joining a small team and reporting directly into the head of the events division, so this is a phenomenal opportunity to develop your career.
You will be responsible for researching and developing marketing opportunities, as well as planning/implementing sales plans across our events programme, website & monthly magazine, and achieving/exceeding the sales targets set. You will also be responsible for overseeing the marketing of our events programme which are ticketed, consumer facing events.
This position is based in our London offices in Farringdon a minimum four days per week, with the option to work from home one day per week.
Requirements
The Role
- Proactively selling events and advertising packages to potential customers
- Identifying potential lead sources and prospect for new business
- Cold calling to prospect for business
- Creating and maintaining sales logs and reports
- Logging bookings received on our CRM system
- Creating our marketing plan for the year, including engaging advertisements, emails and promotional literature
- Management of our social media channels
- Representation of WATCHPRO as a brand through our marketing activities, driving strategies to increase product awareness
- Continual observation of the market, competitors and industry trends, whilst finessing the marketing strategy accordingly
- Data mining and reporting
- Creation of sponsorship/commercial proposals
- Management of client base to ensure we deliver across all our mediums to the best possible standard
- General marketing activities for our events programme and members club
- Project Management of internal teams on events to ensure we execute gold-standard delivery on all activities.
The Candidate
- The role requires someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to effectively handle customer enquiries and gain a clear understanding of customer s requirements.
- The role requires an experienced, organised and self-motivated person with the ability to interact well in a team, whilst building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation and sales skills are imperative to being successful in this role.
- Experience of marketing within events, specifically consume ticketing marketing desirable.
