Cryptocurrency Market Making Trader - Dubai

Our client is looking for individuals or teams with experience making markets in cryptocurrencies to join their newly launched digital assets group. This group will be using high-frequency trading approaches to make markets in cryptocurrencies. The group is part of a major new strategic expansion for our client, and they are building a top-notch team to address the opportunities in the digital assets space. This group will have strong backing and ample resources to achieve success in the space.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, implement, test and optimise new cryptocurrency market making strategies
  

• Day-to-day operational responsibility for running the strategies
  

• Keep abreast of new exchanges and products within the cryptocurrency space, especially new issues
  

• Work closely with quant and development teams on the research and implementation of new strategies and signals, as well as optimizations to both
  

Requirements

Required:

• 3+ years experience developing profitable algorithmic and fully automated (blackbox) market making strategies in cryptocurrencies, especially altcoins, across several exchanges
  

• Please note: candidates with only manual or semi-automated (greybox) strategies will be immediately rejected
  

• Experience trading both crypto spot and crypto derivatives
  

• Experience with new token issues
  

• Strong coding skills
  

• Deep knowledge of market structure and microstructure in the digital assets markets
  

• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  

• A bachelors degree or higher in an analytical or quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computational Finance, or similar)
  

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  

Additional optional experience

• Experience trading NFTs
  

• Familiarity with on-chain metrics
