Clinical Instructor in Medicine Program

The medicine program is seeking a Clinical Instructor to perform teaching & clinical assistance.

The main duties & responsibilities include:

Prepare and present teaching materials and administer assessments.

Delivers a range of programs of study (sometimes for entirely new courses) at various levels to transfer knowledge to the students in practical skills methods and techniques.

Provide feedback and guidance to students.

Keep up to date on the subject.

Develops and oversees the design and development of overall curricula.

Develop quality assurance frameworks consistent to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) of Saudi Arabia and BMC s overall quality framework.

Challenges of thinking foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.

Supervises student projects field trips and where appropriate placements in the undergraduate level.

Sets marks and assesses work and examinations and provide feedback to students after exam results are reviewed and approved.

Ensures teaching contents teaching strategies and deliveries are consistent to the course specifications.

Responds to issues relating to staff and student needs.

Requirements

Education:

Holder of a Bachelor s Degree Specialized in Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) from a reputable University.

Experience :

Teaching / Training Clinical experience in postgraduate and undergraduate studies.

Experience handling administrative duties efficiently and effectively.

Skills:

Ability to develop teaching design and mentoring.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Proficient in the use of dashboard computers and computing devices.

Ability to provide academic leadership.

Effective presentation skills.

Effective administrative/ interpersonal skills.
