Civil Engineer - Steel Constructions

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage steel construction projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to quality standards timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with architects designers and other engineers to develop comprehensive steel construction plans and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Utilize estimation software and techniques to accurately forecast project costs materials and labor requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams subcontractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve shop drawings structural calculations and engineering reports related to steel constructions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of steel materials components and systems recommending design modifications or enhancements as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends advancements and best practices in steel construction methodologies and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Masters degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in steel constructions with a focus on structural design fabrication and erection.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations codes and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience in project estimation and cost management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
