Chief Technology Officer

Are you able to bring order to a team of circa 80 engineers, with 3 direct reports, overseeing the delivery and digital transformation of an industry specific market leading platform that was acquired by an investor led consortium in 2023 after 2 decades of founder run success? You will have experience of transforming a bespoke software delivery service and implementing a product led SAAS approach, with a digital migration away from MS Visual Studio to a more modern development stack, one that addresses the short term, and is fully scalable to address the medium and long term. The choice of Tech will be yours. The new CTO is required to take full ownership of the technical piece of this established business, focusing firstly on stability and then growth and scale. This will be a very rewarding role for the right CTO. Duties will be varied and sometimes challenging. You will dip into your strategy skills, platform design skills, leadership skills, and your technical prowess, although this is certainly not a hands on tech role. And you’d be expected to be in the office 2 or 3 times a week in the West Midlands. Why should you consider working here?
