Chief Shared Services Officer

One of our esteemed clients in the Shipbuilding industry is currently seeking a Chief Shared Services Officer with 15 years of experience alligning to the shipbuilding industry to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview

Manage the activities of the Shared Services including; IT & digital solutions procurement and administrative support. Ensure that services are provided up to the standards while satisfying and accommodating to the needs of the Company and stakeholders.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Align division goals processes and resource allocation with the organizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
• Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
• Define objectives identifies and evaluates trends and options chooses a course of action and evaluates outcomes.
• Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements preparing an annual budget scheduling expenditures analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems and recommending system improvements.
• Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
• Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
• Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives efficiently.
• Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
• Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and
  negotiate business related issues to senior management.
• Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations planning monitoring and appraising job results.

Functional Responsibilities

• Oversee the organizations corporate services in an effective and efficient manner to support achievement of organizational objectives and mission.
• Oversee the organizations IT strategy in alignment with the organization Corporate strategy and IT governance framework.
• Oversee the management of the organization infrastructure including corporate systems networks data while ensuring continuity of the services provided.
• Oversee the management and execution of IT projects to ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects while mitigating any risks delays or changes that may occur.
• Oversee the design development and deployment of applications and solutions utilized for the organizations requirements and ensure they abide by quality and security standards.
• Ensure that technical support is provided to effectively ensure the continuity of Information systems services in the organization.
• Ensure all technology solutions are monitored and their performance are accepted.
• Oversee the organizations procurement activities effectively and maintain relations with vendors to ensure receiving the best possible price and quality.
• Oversee the organizations administrative activities in order to ensure sufficient support to the organization premises and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Management or any other similar field.
• 15 years in a related field including 10 years in a leadership role.
• Masters Degree in Management or any other similar field is preferred.
• Saudi Nationals will be given first preference
