Chief Program Management Officer

One of our esteemed clients in the Shipbuilding industry is currently seeking an Chief Program Management Officer with 15 years of experience alligning to the shipbuilding Naval industry to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview

Oversee the successful execution of established company programs and the initiation of new initiatives. Focusing on program management interface affairs coordination between subsidiaries and the oversight of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities to ensure efficient and effective operations within the shipbuilding and MRO sector.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Align function goals processes and resource allocation with the organizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
• Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
• Define objectives identifies and evaluates trends and options chooses a course of action and evaluates outcomes.
• Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements preparing an annual budget scheduling expenditures analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems and recommending system improvements.
• Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
• Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
• Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives efficiently.
• Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
• Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and negotiate business related issues to senior management.
• Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations planning monitoring and appraising job results.

Functional Responsibilities

• Lead the planning execution and monitoring of the company programs ensuring ontime and onbudget delivery.
• Manage the liaison activities between subsidiaries and the company facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee ILS activities to ensure the availability and sustainability of shipbuilding and MRO projects.
• Engage with internal teams customers and suppliers to gather requirements and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Lead the identification and mitigation of program and interfacerelated risks while monitoring performance and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and quality standards implementing quality control measures for shipbuilding and MRO excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or any other similar field.
• 15 years and above in a related field including 10 years in a leadership role.
• Masters degree in Engineering Business Administration or any other similar field.
• PMP PgMP Certificates.
