Qualifications

Person Specification Qualifications Essential

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification or experience)
  

Experience Essential

• Proven experience of managing a busy office or as a senior administrator with a significant level of responsibility
• Previous supervisory/staff management experience
• Previous project management experience
  

Desirable

• Experience of working within the NHS
• Experience of financial and budget management
  

Skills Essential

• Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrable ability to prioritise workload and work methodically, efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines
• Demonstrable communication and influencing skills with the ability to remain calm, effective and efficient during difficult situations
• Excellent ability to use IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Good understanding of the demands of and busy NHS senior management environment
• Able to deal with difficult people and to cope with confidential and sensitive information
