- Establishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy
- Strengthens current business ties; coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals
- Keeps abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate. Conducts surveys to determine promising areas of development
- Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry. Follows up in a timely manner on all possible leads.
- Develops proposals for services in response to invitations to bid, and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion
- Develops the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions
- Negotiates contracts, including secrecy agreements and joint venture agreements
- Acts as sponsor during project execution
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
