We are looking for a driven and resultsoriented Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in expanding our garments trading business. In this role you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities developing and executing strategic plans to grow our client base and managing relationships with existing and potential customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities emerging trends and potential customers in the garment trade industry.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue targets for garments trading.
  • Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients understanding their needs and proposing solutions through our garment offerings.
  • Negotiate and close deals on garment purchases and sales ensuring adherence to company policies and profit margins.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to showcase our garment products and their value proposition to clients.
  • Attend industry trade shows conferences and networking events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize business development strategies.
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends competitor activities and fashion developments in the garment trade sector.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams such as sales marketing and logistics to ensure smooth execution of business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing International Trade or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in business development preferably within the garments trading industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth objectives.
  • Excellent understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Experience attending trade shows and industry events (a plus).
  • Fluency in English and an additional language (e.g. Arabic Mandarin) is a strong asset.
