This is a remote position.

Summary


This position holds significant strategic importance serving as a key link with our business development team to optimize the benefits of our partnerships. It entails managing relationships with vendors distributors and reseller partners to foster mutual growth and success. Key duties involve nurturing robust connections negotiating agreements tracking performance coordinating marketing initiatives analyzing market trends ensuring alignment across functions mitigating risks offering training managing finances and consistently refining partnership strategies. Ultimately this role is essential for extracting maximum value from vendor and reseller partnerships thereby bolstering revenue growth and enhancing market competitiveness.


Responsibilities:


Vendor Relationship Management and Development
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and distributors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors facilitating regular communication and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop joint business plans and strategies to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new vendor partnerships that align with the companys strategic objectives.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and terms to ensure favorable outcomes for both parties.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value derived from vendor partnerships such as comarketing campaigns or joint product development initiatives.
Reseller Partner Management and Development
  • Identify and recruit new resellers or channel partners that align with the companys strategic objectives and target markets.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and terms with resellers ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.
  • Provide training resources and support to resellers to ensure they are equipped to effectively sell and support the companys products or services.
  • Develop and deliver partner enablement programs including sales training product certifications and marketing collateral.
Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor vendor/reseller performance against key metrics and objectives such as sales targets pipeline and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with vendors and resellers to assess performance identify areas for improvement and align priorities.
  • Joint Marketing and Demand Generation:
  • Collaborate with resellers and vendors on joint marketing campaigns promotions and lead generation activities.
  • Develop and execute comarketing initiatives to drive awareness demand and sales through the channel.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay informed about market trends competitive landscape and industry developments related to both vendor offerings and channel partners.
  • Analyze market data and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and threats for the companys alliances and partnerships.


CrossFunctional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams including sales marketing business development service delivery and operations to ensure alignment and coordination with alliance strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on leveraging vendor and reseller partnerships to achieve business objectives.

Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor and reseller relationships such as supply chain disruptions quality issues or regulatory compliance concerns.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to address potential threats to alliance success.

Training and Enablement:

  • Provide training and support to internal teams on vendor products services and processes.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and workshops to ensure effective utilization of vendor resources and capabilities.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and manage budgets related to vendor partnerships including expenses investments and cost savings initiatives.
  • Track and report on the financial performance of vendor relationships including ROI analysis and costbenefit assessments.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize vendor/resellers alliance strategies and processes to enhance efficiency effectiveness and value delivery.
  • Solicit feedback from internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and innovation in vendor/reseller management practices.


Requirements

Candidate Experience:

To excel in this position you will need to:


Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information technology Business Administration equivalent.
  • Master s in business administration (preferred)


Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Business Development or related position.
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals and digital power.
  • Proficiency in negotiating partnership agreements terms and contracts with vendors and reseller partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple partnerships initiatives and deadlines effectively.
  • Business strategy and market development knowledge with demonstrated analytical and business modeling skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a complex technical and business environment including ability to communicate and influence various internal stakeholders and across functions (such as marketing sales services customer success and finance).
  • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a highpaced fastchanging and sometimes unpredictable work environment.
  • Articulate verbal communication professional business writing and presentation skills


Working Conditions:

  • Business travels could be required up to 50% covered by the company.
