Associate Scientist

Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. in cell/molecular biology, genetics, or related discipline with 6+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Experience in NGS assay and process development.
• Experience with PacBio or ONT long-read technologies.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience with cell and tissue culture a plus.
• Epigenetics, chromatin biology, gene editing, and/or transcriptional regulation knowledge a plus
• Strong technical expertise with extensive experience in molecular biology techniques, including RNA/DNA extraction, qPCR, NGS library preparation, purification, qualification, and quantification.
• Hands-on experience in development and implementation of sequencing assays like amplicon sequencing, whole-genome sequencing, RNA-seq, bisulfite sequencing, long read sequencing, single-cell sequencing, etc.
• Experience with Illumina short-read technologies.
• Team-oriented mindset with ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Passionate, adaptable, and keen on working in the fast-paced biotech startup space.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated, with excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
