Application Security Engineer

Ensure compliance and adherence to ORGANIZATION’S ’s cyber security controls. • Operate and maintain the security applications portfolio, permissions and configuration in ORGANIZATION’S IT infrastructure. • Execute periodically reviews of applications configuration to ensure that security controls are effectively and efficiently configured. • Implement security measures for applications operation, deployment and review in line with ORGANIZATION’S cyber security best practices and requirements. • Review risk assessments and audit observations to implement mitigation actions to address identified gaps and coordinate the identified mitigation actions with all relevant stakeholders. • Participate in IT projects and changes to ensure proper implementation of cyber security requirements. • Agree with the Application Security Manager on performance management objectives and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews. • Adjusts the privileges of users in response to employment status notices sent by Department Managers and the Human Resources Department Manager • Participates in Audits of the IT computing environment – providing evidence of the timely revocation of the accounts of released employees, management approval for increased access and/or privileged account access, and group policy settings for account security. • Supports the development of automated mechanisms that analyse the security violations found in access control logs to discover patterns and evidence of problems. • Providestechnical assistance to Administrators of various systems in their efforts to monitor resources under their control so that unauthorized use will be detected and acting accordingly. • Provided endpoint administration to secure the endpoints and data on it. • Resolve and analyse security incidents with the help of the GIT Service Desk and concerned department as per escalation procedures. • Ensure satisfactory department audit with no high risk finding on department. Any finding to be resolved within agreed time with Audit and Management. • Manage and support end-points security management software like Antivirus, DLP, Document Management systems etc. • Knowledge and understanding for cloud security service like DLP, data classification, etc. • Detailed understating and hands experience with the below technologies: - McAfee ePO suite

Requirements

Education • Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business field or equivalent. Experience • 7+ years of Information Technology experience. • 4 year of experience in implementing and administrating application security solutions
