- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements at the federal, state, and local levels
- Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, payroll tax, sales tax, and other regulatory filings, accurately and timely.
- Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting the organization.
- Manage the organization's VAT obligations, including the calculation, reporting, and remittance of VAT liabilities.
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.v
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in tax compliance and accounting principles.
- Recommend process improvements and implement best practices to streamline tax and VAT processes.
