Accountant

Purpose

The position is responsible for all the accounting related activities of our Dubai office. He/she will be accountable for all the financial reports on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.

Work Overview

• Quarterly submission of VAT in UAE.
  
• Process and submission of Payroll.
  
• Establish books of Accounts Registration
  
• Issue invoices to the customers and ensure all the details are inputted correctly
  
• Reconciliation of day to day transactions
  
• Ensures quality control over financial transactions working with other team members and policies to ensure correct data is included on invoices raised by other team members.
  
• Build relations with customers and take ownership with Accounts receivable payables and credit control
  
• Monthly financial reporting
  
• Where relevant recommends improvements to company processes to promote financial governance and increases in efficiency.
  
• Other duties not enumerated but are essential to the operations of the company.
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years relevant experience in the same capacity as an Accountant
  
• Accuracy and attention to detail
  
• Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast phase and dynamic environment
  
• Advantageous: GAAP knowledge
  
• Advantageous: has worked in a multinational setting
