Accountant

One of our prestigious clients is looking to hire an Accountant in the Restaurant Industry to be based in Dubai U.A.E.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daytoday financial operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with accounting principles.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of corporate tax regulations in Dubai and the wider U.A.E.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
• Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support decisionmaking processes.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes providing financial input and analysis.
• Monitor and report on budget variances offering recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Indepth knowledge of Tax laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with local accounting standards and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Timemanagement and organizational skills.
