Job Summary:

The job holder will play a critical role in facilitating agile practices and principles within VUZ development teams. He/she will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of streaming services and products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of VUZ streaming platform.

Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation:

Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for one or more agile development teams providing guidance and coaching on Scrum principles and practices.
Facilitate Scrum events including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure they are effective and focused on achieving sprint goals.
Remove impediments and obstacles to the teams progress and ensure a smooth flow of work.

Team Empowerment:

Empower and support the development team in self-organization and cross-functional collaboration.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team promoting transparency inspection and adaptation.
Ensure that team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with product owners stakeholders and other teams to ensure alignment on project priorities and goals.
Communicate project status risks and impediments to stakeholders and leadership as needed.
Promote open communication and transparency within the organization.

Metrics and Reporting:

Monitor and report on key agile metrics such as sprint velocity burndown charts and team performance.
Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive actionable changes.
Help the team set and achieve sprint goals and release objectives.

Agile Best Practices:

Stay current with industry best practices and agile methodologies.
Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on agile principles and practices.
Help the organization continuously improve its agile processes.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in any field (Masters degree is a plus).
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a fast-paced digital media or streaming environment.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies Scrum framework and related tools.
Excellent communication facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
Familiarity with streaming technologies and industry trends is a plus.
