POSITION: TEAM LEADER FINANCE/ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER

ROLE SUMMARY

The Team Lead Finance will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating finance operations across multiple business verticals. This role supports the Finance Manager by ensuring accurate financial reporting statutory compliance effective team supervision and strong internal financial controls across all group entities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee end-to-end finance operations for multiple group companies and business verticals.

Supervise review and guide the work of finance executives to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Ensure timely monthly quarterly and annual closing of accounts across all entities.

Prepare and review MIS financial statements and management reports.

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations statutory requirements and internal policies.

Coordinate with external auditors banks tax consultants and regulatory authorities.

Monitor accounts payable accounts receivable cash flow and working capital.

Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis activities.

Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls across finance operations.

TEAM LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISION

Allocate tasks and set priorities for finance executives.

Review work outputs and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Provide training mentoring and performance feedback to team members.

Promote a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

On-time and accurate monthly financial closing and MIS reporting

Compliance

Zero or minimal audit observations and VAT non-compliance

Cash Flow

Improved cash flow management and reduction in receivables ageing

Team Management

Productivity accuracy and adherence to deadlines by finance team

Process Improvement

Implementation of approved finance process and control improvements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Masters/Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Commerce or related field.

Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience within the UAE.

Proven experience handling multi-entity or group company finance operations.

Proficient in handling and supervising a team of min 3 to 4 executives.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong leadership supervisory and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Sound knowledge of UAE VAT financial regulations and compliance standards.

Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse business verticals.

High proficiency in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary Range: AED 8000 AED 10000 per month plus company
