Apt Resources is excited to announce an opportunity for a Classic Car Mechanic at a prestigious Luxury Classic Auto Studio. If you have a passion for vintage automobiles and a strong background in automotive repair and restoration this is the perfect position for this role you will be responsible for maintaining repairing and restoring classic cars to their original condition or even better. You will have the chance to work on some of the most exquisite vehicles and be part of a team that values craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of classic vehicles to identify any issues.
- Perform restoration and repair work on engines transmissions brakes and other critical components.
- Fine-tune and adjust various systems to ensure optimal performance and authenticity.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to execute high-quality repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed parts used and any job estimates.
- Work alongside team members to meet project deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends techniques and classic car restoration methods.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong focus on classic cars and vintage vehicles.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems including engines drivetrains and electrical systems.
- Experience with restoration techniques and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for classic cars and maintaining their authenticity and value.
- Valid drivers license and ability to work flexible hours if required.
