1. Role Purpose
This role is accountable for achieving regional sales and profitability targets while managing dealer performance and driving sales and market share growth within the assigned markets in the Middle East region.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Achieve all sales-related KPIs in the designated regional markets.
- Negotiate and agree annual quarterly and monthly sales targets and promotion calendars with distributors.
- Deliver wholesale and retail volume market share and profitability targets within agreed timelines.
- Design and implement commercial policies and sales support programs to support overall sales management.
- Implement OEM-standard operating procedures and conduct regular assessments of dealer performance.
- Monitor dealer daily operational performance including but not limited to lead management walk-ins bookings test drives sales close ratios and customer satisfaction indices; recommend and drive improvement actions where necessary.
- Manage dealer network development plans to support achievement of sales targets.
- Oversee sales rundown and develop accurate sales projections.
- Conduct regular sales analysis of industry trends and competitor performance.
- Manage monthly order intake L/C follow-up and accounts receivable to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Maintain daily communication with distributors and provide timely support to their operational and commercial requirements.
- Manage designated Tier 1 or Tier 2 markets in the Middle East region.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements
3. Experience Education and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience with an automotive OEM or over 10 years with an automotive distributor as a Sales Manager including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Bachelors degree or above in a related discipline.
- Strong written and spoken English and Arabic communication skills.
- Solid computer skills including MS Office; experience with SAP and OA systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication planning analytical and team-working skills.
- Prior OEM background is preferred.
4. Location and Travel
- Position is based in Dubai with intensive travel across the Middle East region as required.
