Apt Resources is looking for a dedicated CIP Operator to join our clients Dairy Farm this role you will be responsible for operating the Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems essential for maintaining hygiene and sanitation in the dairy production process.
Your expertise will ensure that all equipment and pipelines are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized ultimately supporting the production of high-quality dairy products.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the CIP system to clean and sanitize pipelines storage tanks and milking or processing equipment.
- Prepare cleaning solutions and ensure proper chemical concentrations are used.
- Inspect equipment and pipelines for cleanliness and proper function after each cleaning cycle.
- Record and maintain cleaning schedules temperatures and chemical usage logs.
- Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure systems are properly cleaned before use.
- Follow strict hygiene safety and food-quality procedures in accordance with dairy industry standards.
- Report any equipment faults chemical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist in other sanitation or maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in dairy processing food production or a similar cleaning/sanitation role.
- Knowledge of CIP systems sanitation chemicals and hygiene protocols in dairy or food operations.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts including nights or weekends if required.
