The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Market Analyst - Gulf & Near East to join our this role you are responsible for will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research and analysis to support Hitachi Energys strategic decision-making and business development within these key territories.
How youll make an impact
- Conducting comprehensive market research to identify trends opportunities competitive landscapes and customer needs within the Gulf and Near East energy sectors.
- Analyzing market data economic indicators regulatory changes and technological advancements relevant to Hitachi Energys product portfolio (e.g. power grids renewable energy automation).
- Preparing detailed market reports presentations and forecasts to inform business strategies product development sales targets and investment decisions.
- Monitoring competitor activities market share and strategic initiatives providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Identifying and evaluating potential new markets customer segments and business models within the region.
- Collaborating with sales marketing product management and engineering teams to align market insights with business objectives.
- Supporting the development of business cases and strategic plans for market entry or expansion initiatives.
- Maintaining and updating market intelligence databases and tools.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
- Bachelors degree in business Economics Marketing Engineering or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in market analysis business intelligence or strategic planning preferably within the energy industrial or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Gulf and Near East markets including economic political and cultural nuances.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel statistical software BI platforms).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced international environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required and fluency of the Arabic is a plus
