ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman to join our maintenance team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Handyman you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities are kept in excellent condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks in areas such as plumbing electrical carpentry and painting
- Install and assemble equipment and fixtures as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors when necessary
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance repair or related field
- Proficiency in general repair and maintenance skills including carpentry plumbing electrical work and painting
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends or on-call as needed
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Relevant trade certifications are preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi is advantageous
