Sales Manager Eye Care Portfolio (UAE)
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will oversee AbbVies Eye Care portfolio in the UAE responsible for driving sales growth optimizing market share and executing commercial strategies in alignment with AbbVies organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the marketing and sales efforts for the entire Eye Care portfolio in the UAE.
- Manage motivate and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve targets.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals key opinion leaders and relevant stakeholders in eye care.
- Understand the OTC eye care market in the UAE including retail channels and consumer trends to inform portfolio strategy and trade marketing activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and ensure excellent customer engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing Medical Affairs Market Access) to implement strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and customers needs to adjust plans and tactics accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with AbbVies standards and regional health regulations.
- Follow up on demand and supply meetings to ensure product availability aligns with market needs and sales goals.
- Conduct regular sales review meetings to track performance provide feedback and align team objectives with business targets.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in life sciences pharmacy business or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales with a track record in ophthalmology or specialty care preferred.
- Strong understanding of the UAE healthcare market and regulations.
- Experience managing a sales team and achieving/exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.
- Utilize advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for reporting presentations and data analysis.
- Demonstrate effective email communication for internal coordination and external stakeholder engagement.
