VAM Systems is currently looking for Sr Data & Governance Engineer (Offshore) for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Experience : 6 years
Mandatory Skills
- Expertise in Data Management Enterprise data modelling governance & data quality assessment practices. Understanding of DAMA DMBOK subject areas and ability to work on those areas.
- DAMA certification.
- Expertise in building and managing scalable data pipelines on platforms like AWS and Databricks
- Strong hands-on experience in ETL development data integration and real-time data streaming
- Proficiency in Python SQL and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks like Databricks and Apache Spark
- Knowledge of data modeling data warehousing and data lake architecture Experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud data and analytics architecture
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Ability to automate data preparation integration tasks and implement best practices for data governance and security
- Hands-on experience with automated testing and continuous monitoring for data pipelines
Good to Have:
- Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks INTERNAL
- Experience with DevOps practices in data engineering including CI/CD for data pipelines
- Strong collaboration skills with data scientists IT teams and business stakeholders
