Job Summary:
The incumbent as a Bakery Product Trainer is a key professional whose primary responsibility is to ensure that all bakery staff members are effectively educated and well-versed in the companys bakery products recipes and production standards. This role involves a combination of skills in instructional design teaching and bakery product knowledge aimed at enhancing the skill set of staff. The role holder will be tasked with designing and implementing comprehensive bakery training programs that cater to the diverse learning needs of employees. Additionally the incumbent must stay abreast of the latest bakery product developments recipe updates and industry best practices integrating these into training modules to keep the workforce informed skilled and competent.
Job Description:
Design and develop a product training material including presentations user guides and e-learning modules.
Conduct training sessions in line with a predetermined calendar for internal teams on product features usage and benefits to ensure that staff are equipped with the knowledge to meet customer needs effectively.
Ensure consistent and relevant product knowledge conducting orientation and induction for new employees and promoting learning and development initiatives.
Assess training effectiveness by conducting post-training evaluations gathering feedback tracking performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
Organize regular product refreshers and ensuring that training content is kept up to date with any product changes or updates.
Identify and address areas for improvement based on trainee feedback and regularly communicating training outcomes to management.
Collaborate with category management and marketing teams to stay updated on new product developments and incorporate this information into training programs.
Liaise with store personnel regarding training initiatives and support playing a crucial role in people management and organizational development.
Functional / Technical Competencies:
Strong Instructional design knowledge and e-learning development.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of products knowledge.
Staying abreast of the latest product developments and industry trends.
Needs analysis skills to evaluate training outcomes and adjust programs as needed.
