We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Project Director - PMCM (Project Management and Construction Management) to join our team in Dubai United Arab this pivotal role you will lead and oversee large-scale construction projects ensuring their successful delivery on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary project teams fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee all aspects of project lifecycle from initiation to closeout ensuring adherence to scope schedule and budget
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations providing regular updates and resolving conflicts
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Analyze project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors subcontractors and consultants
- Ensure compliance with local construction regulations safety standards and quality control measures
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality
- Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies and identify new opportunities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field; Masters degree in Project Management or MBA preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required; PRINCE2 certification a plus
- 17 years of experience in project management and construction management with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects
- Extensive knowledge of the construction industry infrastructure development and local regulations in the UAE
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera P6) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite
- Expertise in construction management tools risk management software and financial management systems
- Demonstrated experience in contract management and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to make decisive decisions in high-pressure environments
- International project experience preferably in the Middle East
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
