The Strategic Pricing Leader Services owns pricing and competitive intelligence strategy analytics and operations for TX Core Upgrades MMP and CSA Value Streams. The individuals primary role is to drive pricing and competitive intelligence strategy systematically across the segments to maximize revenue and profitability growth for portfolio. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and a strong ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders. He/she will set the vision building a customer oriented data driven & differentiated pricing and competitive intelligence function in unison with segments need. Key measurements for this role include value price realized on orders and sales that yields margin expansion and competitive differentiation. The role manages a team of pricing and competitive intelligence specialists for Services portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Owns global pricing strategy for Services portfolio driving year-over-year improvements in margin. Monitoring price performance to identify risks and opportunities and drive actions for profitable growth.
- People leadership. Lead motivate coach develop attract retain & grow Pricing and Competitive Intelligence talent pipeline
- Support the thinking to identify legacy processes evaluate their current relevance driving a simplified yet effective Pricing and Competitive intelligence function.
- Support pricing and competitive intelligence analytics using complex financial and statistical methodologies to guide and recommend the business on pricing and competitive intelligence moves that help the business in achieving objectives.
- Support the development of a competitive pricing database based on market data to deliver actionable insights across organization.
- Work with Global Pricing Leader and Segment Leaders to regularly review and recommend changes to pricing strategies or tactics to improve effectiveness for each segment/ value stream.
- Analyse cause & effect of value pricing based on competitive position the marketplace and enhance tools for regional effectiveness.
- Support strategic and value-based pricing engagements to ensure optimal lifecycle price strategies are implemented during NPI programs
- Lead pricing and competitive intelligence operations and develop and maintain the data tools and processes needed to ensure that deals of all size can be priced based on lifecycle value through catalogue management pricing and competitive intelligence IT systems delegation of authority price audits and strong partnership with regional teams..
- Effectively and regularly communicate on pricing and competitive intelligence activities analysis and performance throughout the organization.
- Facilitate change management while working closely with other functions such as marketing product management and finance to influence activities to maximize pricing and competitive intelligence effectiveness.
- Drive engagement with regional teams to understand customer segments challenges pricing and competitive intelligence trends to assess & develop a compliant pricing network for the business line.
- Understand product share / price tradeoff for key products based on competitive factors cost and other market drivers to allow best positioning of these products resulting in increased margin.
- Demonstrate thought leadership. Guide the team to understand how GEs price and offering compares to others in the market. Understand commercial trends incorporating win-loss data 3rd party information sources and field interaction & provide with strategic or tactical responses to those trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business Marketing Finance or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Major years of demonstrated experience of which at least 4 years is in Pricing and Competitive Intelligence Strategic Marketing Sales Commercial Operations Commercial Finance or similar with significant pricing and competitive intelligence content

- Certified Pricing Professional
- Deep understanding of pricing tools & metrics including OPR & SPR
- Ability to develop strong and logical business recommendations with limited datahighly analytical
- Effective communication & presentation skills including at the senior leadership level
- Ability to drive process simplification and influence others
- Proven ability to anticipate/quickly respond to changing market conditions & potentially ambiguous environments setting appropriate strategy
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles
- Solid leadership communication and relationship building skills with proven ability to obtain buy-in on concepts/ideas.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (eg. Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Strong financial analytical skills and deep understanding of financial business metrics
