Role Overview
Mumzworld is entering a new chapter of disciplined profitable growthexpanding our category focus deepening customer relevance with a view to build a world-class region-specific commercial engine. To power this next phase We are looking for a high-caliber commercial leader to build and scale Mumzworlds distribution function across the GCC. This role is at the intersection of partnerships commercial strategy brand development and business direct ownership of how we source onboard and grow the right brands for mothers and families in the region.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of consulting or investment banking foundations distribution or commercial experience and an entrepreneurial founder-style mindset. This person must be comfortable operating in a high-growth environment managing senior stakeholders and representing Mumzworld to international brand owners.
What Youll Be Doing
Key Responsiblities:
Brand Acquisition & Strategic Partnerships
Source evaluate and onboard high-potential regional and international baby kids FMCG and consumer brands.
Build and nurture long-term partnerships with brand owners distributors suppliers and retail buyers.
Negotiate exclusive or preferred distribution rights to strengthen Mumzworlds market leadership.
Commercial & Growth Ownership
Own the P&L for assigned brands including pricing margins cost structures and profitability.
Drive growth across all channels: marketplaces offline retail pharmacies and distributor networks.
Shape commercial strategies using data market insights and brand performance analytics.
Go-To-Market & Brand Development
Work closely with Marketing to execute launches campaigns and brand awareness initiatives.
Collaborate with Operations Finance Supply Chain and Product teams to ensure flawless execution.
Ensure compliance with GCC/MENA regulations product certifications and safety policies.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Build and lead a high-performing distribution function with a strong BD and commercial backbone.
Manage senior internal and external stakeholders acting as the face of the brand with global partners.
Influence strategic conversations with the CCO and CEO contributing directly to category and commercial roadmaps.
What Youll Need
Experience:
5 years in distribution commercial sourcing partnerships brand management or business development.
Preferably consulting or investment banking experience before transitioning into commercial/distribution roles.
Experience in companies that represent or distribute brands (e.g. Ashayaya Maga Futen) or premium retail groups.
Experience managing teams and leading high-value negotiations.
International exposure or education is strongly preferred.
Qualification:

Strong founder mentality proactive resilient resourceful and comfortable building from scratch.
Demonstrated ability to scale brands and manage P&L ownership.
Strong commercial instincts in pricing negotiations margins and growth strategy.
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and global partners.
Clear understanding of parent and family buying behaviour in the GCC.
Excellent communication analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
Leadership Attributes
Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to operate independently.
Confident polished communicator able to represent Mumzworld to global brands.
Strategic yet hands-on comfortable switching between high-level thinking and execution
