Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten (KG) Homeroom Teacher to join our Early Years Childhood program in Al Ain UAE. This role is central to fostering a nurturing engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children in KG1 and KG2. The ideal candidate will be a certified early childhood educator with a proven track record in delivering high-quality play-based learning experiences that promote cognitive social emotional and physical development. As a key member of our education team you will collaborate with colleagues communicate effectively with parents and contribute to a vibrant school culture rooted in inclusivity innovation and holistic child development. Your leadership in the classroom and commitment to early learning excellence will directly impact the foundation of lifelong learning for our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate inquiry-based curricula aligned with early years frameworks (e.g. EYFS IB PYP or UAE National Curriculum).
- Create a safe stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports exploration creativity and independence.
- Deliver structured yet flexible daily routines that balance play learning and social interaction for 46-year-olds.
- Monitor and document student progress using observational assessments and portfolio-based evaluation.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to plan interdisciplinary units and school-wide events.
- Maintain consistent and transparent communication with parents through regular updates parent-teacher conferences and digital platforms.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and emotional regulation.
- Participate in professional development team meetings and school improvement initiatives.
- Support the integration of technology and creative resources to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
- Valid teaching qualification ( PGCE or equivalent) with certification in early years education.
- 45 years of proven experience teaching in KG or Early Years settings preferably in an international or UAE-based school environment.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills with both colleagues and parents.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse classroom with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
- Must be a female candidate from the US UK South Africa or Canada; UAE-based candidates are preferred.
- Willingness to commit to a 2-year contract with the school.
