AECOM are currently seeking a Regional Credit Manager to join our Finance team. The role will sit within our Financial Planning and Analysis practice reporting into the Director.
As a Regional Credit Manager at AECOM you will play a pivotal role in managing the companys credit and collections processes. To ensure the financial health of the organization the role requires a proactive hands-on approach including direct engagement with clients to resolve payment issues and maintain strong relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Personally visit key clients to discuss overdue payments resolve disputes and strengthen relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated credit issues ensuring timely and effective resolutions
- Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with clients to foster trust and collaboration
- Develop and enforce credit control policies tailored to AECOMs operational and client needs
- Assess and approve credit terms for new and existing clients ensuring alignment with company risk policies
- Monitor accounts receivable identifying and addressing potential risks proactively
- Lead mentor and develop the credit control team to achieve departmental objectives
- Foster a collaborative environment working closely with operations to resolve disputes and agree on key action to be taken
- Oversee the collection of outstanding invoices ensuring timely payments to support cash flow
- Negotiate payment terms settlements and repayment plans directly with clients when necessary
- Prepare detailed reports on aged debt collection performance and cash flow forecasts for senior management
- Lead the Weekly internal cash reporting calls
- Consolidate and challenge forecast information from individual regions and countries.
- Build overall narrative and messaging around performance outcomes
- Support the quarterly Outlook and annual planning process
- Ensure credit control processes align with AECOMs global standards and regional financial policies
- Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Participate in special work as required
- Support the Offshoring initiative and drive continuous improvement on processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors of Science in Finance / Accounting or a related subject.
- Experience within working capital / credit management is required for the role.
- A minimum of 8-10 years experience within finance with a focus on credit management
