Role Overview
Were looking for a Head of Data to lead our growing data team and turn data into a key driver of business impact. Youll set the vision build scalable foundations and work closely with teams across product growth engineering and operations. This is a leadership role with deep product and commercial exposure.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and lead Calos data strategy across all business lines
- Manage a cross-functional team of analysts scientists and engineers
- Build and scale data processes infrastructure and tooling.
- Partner with product and business teams to drive growth efficiency and better decisions
- Establish clear consistent metrics and support experimentation
- Champion a data-driven culture and raise data fluency across the company
What Were Looking For
- Experience leading cross-functional data teams across analytics data science and data engineering.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence product growth and executive teams
- Solid grasp of data fundamentals (SQL data modeling metric definitions even if not hands-on daily)
- Strong planning and process mindset; able to scale systems not just outputs
- Commercially awareunderstands how data impacts GTM retention and unit economics
- Familiarity with modern data tools like mixpanel metabase dbt Airflow Snowflake Looker
Bonus If You Have
- Experience in high-growth startups or scaling early-stage data functions
- Background in top consumer tech products
- A personal passion for food health or wellness
