Job Title: Joinery Draftsman
Location: Sharjah UAE
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings detailed shop drawings cutting lists and technical documentation for furniture cabinetry doors and interior fit-out elements. This role requires strong coordination skills technical accuracy and the ability to collaborate closely with project and production teams to ensure smooth execution of joinery works.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drafting

Prepare detailed technical and shop drawings for joinery items including kitchen furniture cabinets wardrobes doors panels and fit-outs.
2. Cutting List Preparation
-
Prepare accurate cutting lists based on approved drawings.

Optimize material usage to reduce waste and improve cost-efficiency.

Coordinate with production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
3. Coordination & Communication
-
Collaborate with project managers designers and production teams.

Participate in project meetings to align on design and timelines.

Communicate design changes or technical issues to relevant stakeholders.
4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain organized drawing records revisions and related documentation.

Provide timely updates on design progress to the project team.
Qualifications & Skills
-
1-3 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman (UAE or international).

Proficiency in AutoCAD.
-
Strong knowledge of joinery materials manufacturing processes and construction methods.
-
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
