Role Overview:

Orbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced Freelance Multi Inspector to support Oil & Gas Energy and Industrial projects. The role involves performing multi-disciplinary inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications applicable codes and client requirements across various stages of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspection activities related to welding painting/coating piping and/or structural works as applicable.
Verify materials workmanship and installation against approved drawings ITPs method statements and project specifications.
Conduct visual inspections dimensional checks and verification of fabrication installation and testing activities.
Review and verify inspection records reports and quality documentation.
Identify report and follow up on non-conformances ensuring timely corrective actions.
Coordinate with construction QA/QC engineering and client representatives during inspections.
Ensure all inspection activities comply with ASME API ISO AWS NACE/AMPP and project-specific standards.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
35 years of experience as a Multi Inspector or QA/QC Inspector in Oil & Gas Energy or Industrial projects.
Mandatory certifications: CSWIP NACE/AMPP BGAS AWS API or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of inspection standards and codes (ASME API ISO AWS NACE).
Proven hands-on experience in multi-discipline inspection (Welding Painting/Coating Piping Structural).
Valid UAE Driving License.
Must hold a valid Freelance / Own UAE Visa.
