Job Title - Senior Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery within a trading and industrial solutions environment. This role is responsible for defining project scope managing resources controlling budgets mitigating risks and ensuring timely high-quality project outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership structured project governance and the ability to align stakeholders around clear objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Governance
Define project scope objectives deliverables and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans schedules budgets and resource allocation models.
Establish project governance structures reporting cadence and control mechanisms.
Execution & Delivery Management
Lead end-to-end project execution ensuring milestones timelines and quality standards are met.
Coordinate cross-functional teams vendors and external partners to deliver project outcomes.
Monitor project progress manage dependencies and address issues proactively.
Risk Cost & Quality Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Control project budgets track costs and ensure financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication status reporting and escalation management.
Facilitate steering committee meetings reviews and decision-making forums.
Change & Issue Management
Manage scope changes through formal change-control processes.
Resolve conflicts and issues impacting project delivery in a timely and structured manner.
Ensure alignment between evolving business requirements and project objectives.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track project KPIs milestones and performance metrics.
Prepare regular project status reports dashboards and executive summaries.
Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices.
Leadership & Mentoring
Lead coach and motivate project team members to achieve high performance.
Promote best practices in project management methodologies and tools.
Support capability building and continuous improvement across project teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration Project Management or a related field.
812 years of project management experience preferably in trading industrial or solution-based environments.
Proven experience managing large-scale multi-disciplinary projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK PRINCE2 Agile or hybrid models).
Experience managing budgets vendors and complex stakeholder groups.
Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
Excellent leadership communication and decision-making skills.
