ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join our clients team in Abu Dhabi. This role is within one of the UAE s largest government-affiliated healthcare networks recognized for delivering exceptional patient-centered care and providing holistic support services. The Social Worker will play a critical role in supporting patients and families through psychosocial challenges coordinating care and ensuring emotional well-being during medical treatment. Experience supporting pediatric patients is highly preferred. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide counseling and psychosocial support to patients and families dealing with medical emotional and social challenges.
- Assess patients social emotional and financial needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Act as a liaison between patients families healthcare providers and community resources.
- Support families in coping with long-term illnesses rehabilitation and end-of-life care.
- Assist in discharge planning and coordinate post-hospitalization services.
- Advocate for patients rights ensuring they receive adequate support and resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments interventions and referrals.
- Conduct awareness and educational sessions as part of holistic healthcare delivery.
- Adhere to ethical standards confidentiality and cultural sensitivity at all times.
Requirements
To be considered you need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Social Work or related field.
- Valid UAE professional license/registration or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a hospital or clinical setting including pediatric care exposure.
- Strong knowledge of psychosocial assessment counseling techniques and care coordination.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
