ملخص الوظيفة

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance construction and engineering projects you will play a crucial role in managing costs contracts and commercial aspects of our operations.

Administrate and implement change control including the administration of Works Order Contract Works and Purchase Orders
Support the Project Manager and Division Director in preparing and submitting SubContractor Payment Certificates Internal & External Forecasting and Accruals
Maintain a database of accredited subcontractors and advise on procurement strategy
Manage the pursuit of Green Claim income liaising with specialist legal representatives and loss adjusters
Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and internal policies related to Commercial processes
Prepare detailed reports on project costs budgets and financial forecasts
Support the Commercial Manager in achieving commercially driven objectives and monitoring Key Performance Indicators
Promote continual improvement within the organization and implement effective corrective and preventive measures
Advise colleagues from other departments on Commercial issues relevant to their work
Ensure effective control and evaluation of key suppliers and subcontractors
Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project progress and costs

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Commercial Management or a related field
Professional certification such as MRICS or MCInstCES is highly desirable
Proven experience in quantity surveying preferably in infrastructure maintenance projects
Strong knowledge of contract management procurement options and risk management processes
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and familiarity with specialized quantity surveying software
Demonstrated ability to work independently meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail
Experience in bidding processes and proposal preparation
Working experience in construction estimation software (CCS Candy)
Knowledge of UAE construction industry standards practices and local building codes in Abu Dhabi
PRINCE2 Accreditation is advantageous
Ability to adapt to new ideas and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic work environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Conduct site visits and work flexibly when required
