As an Accountancy Trainee or Graduate you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for financial management and reporting. Your role will involve assisting with various accounting tasks and gaining practical experience in the field. Here are the key responsibilities:
As an Accountancy Trainee or Graduate you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for financial management and reporting. Your role will involve assisting with various accounting tasks and gaining practical experience in the field. Here are the key responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial results including departmental profit and loss statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decisionmaking.
- Document financial transactions by accurately entering account information.
- Handle the preparation and posting of general ledger journals.
- Cover prepayments expense accruals and interest accruals.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Participate in the budgeting process.
- Prepare asset liability and capital account entries.
- Contribute to financial standards setting.
- Assist with annual audit preparations.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings account discrepancies and issues of noncompliance.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Emirati graduates only).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
