About the Role:
We are looking for a Cashier to join our team and ensure seamless transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves maintaining the cash station issuing receipts assisting customers and upholding food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system handling cash credit and debit payments.
- Issue receipts provide correct change and reconcile cash register drawers.
- Ensure orders are entered correctly and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely fulfillment.
- Keep the cashier station clean stocked and organized.
- Follow company policies food safety regulations and security procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cash handling within retail or food service industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of menu items prices and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial transactions and customer data.
