We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Al Ain United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our building development projects you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale construction initiatives ensuring compliance with project specifications and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Lead and supervise the engineering team on-site ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to timelines
- Monitor and evaluate project progress preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders
- Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with clients contractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project success
- Review and approve shop drawings material submittals and change orders
- Manage project budgets schedules and resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with local building codes safety regulations and environmental standards
- Implement innovative solutions to overcome project challenges and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project processes and enhance overall performance
- Mentor and develop junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in building engineering with a focus on managing large-scale projects
- Proven track record in overseeing complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East
- In-depth knowledge of UAE construction standards regulations and best practices
- Strong understanding of infrastructure development construction methodologies and quality control processes
- Excellent project management skills including budget and schedule management
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills
- Strong technical report writing and communication abilities
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project needs
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and implement innovative solutions
