What will I be doing
At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah as a Kitchen Intern you are responsible for performing all basic preparation cleaning delivery and other supportive duties as instructed and required by the operation.
Interns should have a high-level passion and dedication to the craft with their contribution of skills and enthusiasm to the dynamic operation of the kitchen. Has to be open to receive trainings and be monitored in order to learn and improve their skills and knowledge in all aspects of food preparation.
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensure professional and timely execution of all working tasks as instructed by Supervisor
Following Proper Cleaning and Sanitation as by Hilton HACCP Procedures and Local Government Policies
Following all HACCP Documentation as per Hilton HACCP Procedures and Local Government Policies is completed correctly in a Timely Manner
Greet Guests Immediately with A Friendly and Sincere Welcome Use Positive and Clear Language
Ensure you must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance and wear your respective Uniforms
Ensure professional and timely execution of all working tasks
Perform Other Duties as Required Including Report Any Equipment in need of Repair or Replacement to Head Chef
Attend All Required Training within the deadline
Ensure to Secure Correct Usages of Equipment and Supplies
Washes Sanitize Chops and cuts Fruit Meat Vegetable etc. following the HACCP Hilton standards and Local Government Policies
Measures Mixes and Prepares Ingredients Sauces And Seasonings Following Recipes
To Adhere to All Food Safety Requirements Within the Operation
To Maintain A High Standard of Personal Hygiene for Yourself as by Food Code and Hygiene Standards
To assist Monitoring the Cleaning and Sanitization of the Kitchen Environment of your Department
Listen actively and communicate clearly while interacting with customers
