ملخص الوظيفة

You will make your mark as a Senior Accountant at our Abu Dhabi office. You will be part of our finance shared service centre (FSSC) consisting of around 70 people from different backgrounds supporting administrations globally in the various areas of Accounts and Control.

You have a proven track record in accounting an engaging personality and strong social skills. You act with consideration for the organization and your colleagues.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Accountant are:

  • Serve as the main point of contact person for a specific Business Unit of Boskalis within the Shared Service Centre and be responsible for maintaining a high-quality service.
  • Oversee and coordinate all financial transactions and processes related to the assigned Business Unit in collaboration with various internal FSSC teams.
  • Make specifications reconciliations and trial balance review on various aspects in the accounts.
  • Initiate and manage finance-related improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and compliance.
  • Monthly and/or Quarterly reporting for the Business Unit ensuring timely submission data accuracy and insight-driven analysis.

Your qualities
You can make your mark as Senior Accountant if you have:

  • 8 years of proven track record in a financial position such as Accountant Financial Controller or Business Controller.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent communicator in English both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Potential and willingness to mentor or guide junior finance staff when required.
  • Experience in an international diverse organization (Oil & Gas Construction industry)
  • Acting as a sparring partner to the Business Unit providing both solicited and unsolicited advice to management.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting tools and administrative software like InforLN OneStream and MS excel.

  • Your team: You will be part of the FSSC Abu Dhabi team and you will also work closely together with the head office finance team.
  • Where you will work: You will work from our beautiful office in Abu Dhabi.
  • Full-time/part-time job: The position of Financial Controller is a full-time job.
