This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Core Labs division
This is a fixed term contract role for 1 year
About Diagnostics Division
Were empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day more than 10 million tests are run on Abbotts diagnostics instruments providing lab results for millions of people.
The Technical Solutions Designer (TSD)s mission is to collaborate with the client as a partner in order to understand the clients needs and co-construct the organizational solution that meets their needs.
She/He is responsible forbusiness developmenton both new business and existing clients by providing the sales team with support and expertise inorganizational analysisandlaboratory automationsolutions.
On qualified projects it analyzes the critical points of laboratory organizations and proposes the technical and organizational solutions best suited to the expectations and needs of the client while improving the profitability of the business on these matters.
What Youll Do:
-Work in close collaboration with the different departments to offer the best tools and skills essential to the success of technical platformautomationprojects in France.
-Analyze the critical points of laboratory organizations in identified and qualified projects and propose the technical and organizational solutions best suited to the clients expectations and needs while improving the profitability of the business on these matters.
-Develop proposals for the efficient organization of workstations and activity flows to improve the performance and profits of the client and Abbott.
-Actively present solution value propositions to customers through presentations on-site and off-site system demonstrations/evaluations
-Provide guidance on post-implementation workflow to ensure customer expectations and value propositions are delivered and recognized.
-Identify key stakeholders and develop the relationships necessary for the success of complex implementations in new environments.
-Maintain and grow existing and new customers through workflow consulting and ethical sales methods.
-Bring a real consulting approach for example according to the Lean-6 Sigma methodology in the management ofstrategic accounts.
Required Qualifications:
-Graduate (Science/ Biomedical/ Medical Lab) with 0-2 years of relevant experience
-UAE Nationals only

Ability to develop and defend new ideas and approaches.
