ملخص الوظيفة

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Leading in producing engineering products for bridge rehabilitation and new design projects from concept through construction to meet customer quality requirements.
Complete detailed structural design calculations and analysis.
Work independently and as part of a team to define problems establish work scope prepare budgets and schedules plan the work and provide technical direction and oversight.
Prepare and check detailed engineering models drawings specifications quantities cost estimates and technical reports.
Develop and review designs for new bridges and bridge rehabilitation.
Provide expertise and services related to the evaluation inspection and rehabilitation of transportation structures.
Review cost estimates specifications and tender documents prepared by junior engineers.
Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines and departments including highway foundation environmental drainage and electrical.
Maintain effective working relationships with clients.
Perform project management duties including assembling and managing project teams controlling budgets and schedules ensuring quality control and managing client interactions.
Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters Designers and less experienced Engineers.
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (.).
Minimum 15 years of progressive design experience for municipalities/ clients projects involves steel and concrete bridge structures in MESA ;
Must be able to lead detailed design and contract preparation together with team member and as self-directed manner ;
Proficient user of structural analysis software (Midas and CSiBridge) ;
Sound and in-depth knowledge in MTO standards and policies Highway Bridge Design Code (CSA-S6) AASHTO and ARIMA Codes
Must be acknowledged as Bridge Expert with deepen network in this field ;
Ability to provide construction liaison and act as Contract Administrator.
Ability to review and sign-off of technical design reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound understanding of other disciplines scope and ability to liaise.
