Senior MEP Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior MEP Engineer will be responsible for leading the design coordination and execution of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems within luxury villas and residential property projects. This role requires a technically strong professional who can ensure compliance with international standards optimize engineering solutions and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Leadership

• Lead the design and engineering of MEP systems for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare review and validate design drawings specifications and calculations.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to optimize system performance sustainability and cost efficiency.

Project Coordination & Delivery

• Coordinate MEP design with architectural structural and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
• Oversee installation testing and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved in line with quality safety and cost objectives.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to UAE building codes international standards and client specifications.
• Implement quality assurance and control procedures for all MEP activities.
• Contribute to transparent reporting and documentation in line with project governance frameworks.

Risk Management & Problem Solving

• Identify and mitigate risks related to MEP design and execution.
• Resolve technical issues promptly to avoid project delays.
• Participate in value engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Team Collaboration & Development

• Work closely with project managers site engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability.

Job Requirements

• Proven track record in MEP engineering roles within Design & Build contracting construction or infrastructure organizations.
• Strong expertise in HVAC electrical plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Solid understanding of design software BIM and project management platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE regulations international standards and sustainable engineering practices.
• Strong communication coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project-driven environment with a focus on financial discipline and transparency.
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Building Services Engineering; Masters degree or professional certification preferred.
